Artificial Intelligence Policy

This policy aims to establish ethical and scientific standards for the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in the articles submitted to Dorlion Journal. Ensuring the proper and accurate use of AI in academic writing processes, while adhering to data security and academic integrity principles, is one of the main goals of this policy. This policy may be updated periodically in response to developments in the scope, form, and capabilities of AI tools.

This policy is aligned with the ethical principles and publication policies of Dorlion Journal. AI tools may only be used to check grammar, spelling errors, and consistency of style in articles submitted to the journal. Dorlion commits to not using AI tools at any stage of the article review process.

Considerations for the Use of Artificial Intelligence:

  1. Transparency and Accountability: Every stage where AI is used should be clearly and transparently specified. Information should be provided regarding which processes are involved, how AI is used, and which data are utilized. The contribution of AI should be openly stated. Author declarations will be included in the articles published by Dorlion Journal.

  2. Accuracy: The accuracy of AI-generated content must be verified by cross-referencing the obtained data with reliable sources. Careful scrutiny is required to ensure that the content does not contain inaccurate information.

  3. Responsibility: The responsibility for any data generated by AI tools rests entirely with the author. Authors should carefully review the points where AI has been used and must acknowledge that they hold ultimate responsibility for the resulting data.

  4. Impartiality: Authors must openly declare any potential conflicts of interest and must adhere to the principles of impartiality. Regular audits and review processes should be established to ensure the unbiased use of AI.

  5. Confidentiality and Security: The confidentiality and security of personal data must always be prioritized. Privacy principles should be respected during data collection, storage, and processing, and appropriate security measures should be rigorously implemented.

  6. Citation: AI usage should not be included in footnotes or the bibliography section. Instead, the use of AI should be explicitly stated in the ethical declaration section of the article.
